Word Pair ~ Short vowel to long vowel

We have been learning how to "flip the sound" with vowels. Today we learned more about bossy "E" and how it changes the short vowel to a long vowel. Students have a copy of the sheet pictured below and are welcome to practice reading the words and flipping the sound as one of their homework squares. Your child can color in a reading square or write "flip the sound" reading sheet in one of the boxes.
